Nice blog! I have one complaint though. As I was reading your blog for the first time, I was a bit confused. Your banner is very misleading. I wish it had something to do with, "Rain" or "City," or more to do with "Stylistas." Though the photo of a woman's torso and thighs as she leans against what I assume to be the famous Gum Wall is interesting, a picture of a rainy city would be more likely to draw viewers. I did find the blog with an explanation of the banner, but wish it had been clearer earlier on.
ReplyDeleteJust a tip!
Thanks for the feedback! We chose this blog name over two years ago; if you're from Seattle you'll probably know that some fondly (or not so fondly, either) call it Rain City. I remember when I was little there was a skatepark downtown called Rain City Skate.
ReplyDeleteThe idea was that it represents the unique perspective Seattle has given us on fashion, makeup and styling- through posts on sustainable/nonprofit products, for instance. However, your insight has been a great reminder to maybe cater towards style more linked with Seattle culture.
Sorry for the novel I've just written, but thanks, please keep reading, and leave lots of comments!!
