An Actual Thumbs-Up to Blake Lively... Who Knew

Whilst browsing Go Fug Yourself today between classes, I found a photo of Blake Lively in a dress that I ACTUALLY LIKE.

First of all, her boobs and legs aren't both hanging out for all the world to ogle at (My mom says that if you've got 'em flaunt 'em, but I think Ms. Lively takes it quite a few steps too far), she dresses it down nicely with the messy braid, and although I'm not crazy about the Louboutins she's wearing, at least she doesn't look like a big orange hooker, right?

As Tim Gunn advises, when you have to wonder if it's a shirt or a dress (has anyone else had this experience at Forever 21?), just say it's a shirt.

Sometimes School is Hard and Blogging Takes a Backseat

So basically the first few weeks of term were easy peasy but, as was inevitable, the wretched fist of classwork appeared and gave me a good right hook to the kisser. Now I'm in a neck brace.

As soon as time permits, as in later this week, I'll blog your stinkin' pants off, readers!

But for now I must go brew more coffee and read more exegetical crap :(

Total Boss: Naeem Khan

This week on Project Runway (LOVE Mondo and Gretchen, but more on that later), the guest judge was Naeem Khan, an Indian-born designer. I was looking at some of his designs online and realized that he designed a leather moto jacked I'd drooled over in Marie Claire's September issue.

Plus, I had to give Khan props for giving real constructive criticism. All too often PR's got designers like (fantastic, don't get me wrong) Donatella Versace or someone sitting there repeating, "I loave zis. I 'ate zat."

Also, DID ANYONE SEE WHEN BETSEY JOHNSON GUEST JUDGED?!?? DID YOU HAVE A HEART ATTACK LIKE I DID??
